As I mentioned this morning - new picks this week. I get on the 4:22 departing 854C - and low and behold, it's The Whistler. The Whistler is a rotating sub for the MJ Ruter garage, which services the Maple Grove (780's), Brooklyn Park (760's) and Blaine (850's) routes.
As I get on the bus, The Whistler gives me a smiling greeting of "Good Afternoon" (as he says to other boarding passengers). However, for me he also adds "Nice to see you again" as he recognizes me. As Doreen and I walk up the aisle of the bus to get off at our stop, The Whistler toots a little tune while watching us in the rearview mirror.
